Rotary Club Announces 2008 Students of Excellence Awards

The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club announced the recipients of its annual Students of Excellence Awards at its April 25, 2008 meeting. The Student of Excellence Awards are presented by the Club to students from the local high schools who have exhibited extraordinary leadership and scholastic ability and service to their schools and communities.
The Students of Excellence recipients are selected by each of the three county high school’s faculty. Summertown High Principal Bryan True presented the SHS Student Excellence Awards to Alexandra Dery and Daniel Oswald. Loretto High Principal David Daniel introduced Shanna Kennedy and Tommy Bottoms as Students of Excellence at LHS. Lawrence County High Principal Mickey Dunn introduced Mary Claire Smith and Tommy Mayfield as the LCHS recipients.
